Portland’s only lesbian choir kicks off its 30th Season of singing with a cabaret-style fundraising concert on Saturday, Nov 7th at 7:30 pm
Passions & Pitfalls showcases a diverse group of singers, from the entire choir to small groups and solos. The theme of this year’s Cabaret is Passions & Pitfalls, Loves Glorious Journey. From the highs of love’s passion to the lows of unrequited feelings it is sure to evoke the very same emotions into the audience in an auditory experience that is sure to delight.
The concert is staged by Portland Lesbian Choir’s musical director, Mary McCarty, accompanist, Kim Horenstein, and will feature local musicians.
Tickets are $20 and can be purchased from Ticketleap or at the door. The Abbey will open at 6:30PM for a no-host cocktail and social hour. The show will start promptly at 7:30PM
